We've always incorporated our customers ideas into our boats.  This means that the Big "O" Boat is always changing as we add or take away things that our customers either want, or don't want.   To help keep our customer's boats up to date, we have decided to create an upgrade page.  This allows the individual who owns an older Big "O" Boat to upgrade to a newer boat, without the cost of purchasing a whole new vessel.

Now obviously there are limits to what we can do, but below are some of the more common upgrades we can do to your boat.

Carpet:  While the carpet in the Big "O"  Boat lasts a very long time, it will degrade.  For those customers whose carpet is looking a little ragged, we can completely strip out the old, and replace it with the new.

Upholstery:  Seats getting a little worn?  Wish you could change out those bucket seats for the newer B&M's? Lose a seat out on the water?  Contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Lids:  Older model Big "O" Boats had fiberglass lids.  Our lids are now made entirely of reinforced Aluminum.    We also insulate the bottom of these lids to stop them from sweating.

Lid Insulation:  For those customers who already have aluminum lids, we can insulate them for you.  This prevents sweating, and helps keep  the temperature in your livewells and coolers consistent.

Lid Insert:  Older Big "O" Boats had standard lid insert around the openings of their boxes.  We now put in a lid insert with a top mounted seal.  Combined with the insulated aluminum lids this allows us to have a water tight seal to help keep your boxes dry.

Non-Skid matting:  We can put non-skid matting on the bow and flipping corners of the boat.  This allows you to step on those areas with a little more safety.  It also helps by keeping those areas scratch free.  A great cosmetic touch up to areas that are well worn.

Power Switch:  All Big "O" Boats come standard with a master power switch and indicator light.  This switch cuts all power to the boat off, with the exception of the automatic bilge pump switch.  The switch is a great way to make sure that all your pumps and electronics are shut off to prevent accidental battery drain.

Circuit Breakers:  Older Big "O" Boats came with a blade type fuse panel under the console.  This made it hard at times to change a fuse, especially if the customer was a large individual.  We now have re-settable circuit breakers built into our consoles.  If something stops working, odds are you can simply push the breaker on the console and keep on going.

Box Courtesy Lights:  We now can install box courtesy lights into all our boxes and livewells in the Big "O" Boat, including the livewells.  If your an early morning, or night fisherman, then this can be of great aid in finding tackle, and your gear on those dark mornings.

Aeration Systems:  You can add aerator pumps to your livewell systems to help keep that big fish alive until weigh in.

Hamby's Keel Protector:  Absolutely a must have on those low or rock strewn lakes.  6' protective piece mounts on the keel of the boat, and prevents scratches and holes from being punched into the boat.  Great way to repair a damaged or scratched up keel, and prevent future damage.

Many more options available.  If you have a Big "O" Boat in need of some tender loving care, give us a call and we'll be more than happy to help.
