A Big
"O" Boat meets all Coast Guard regulations for flotation. By
law Big "O" Boats doesn’t have to have flotation in the boat
since it is over 20’ in length. We put it in there anyway to make sure
that you have all the piece of mind you need when out on the water. All
flotation in the hull of the Big "O" Boat is encased in
fiberglass to prevent water retention. All flotation that is placed
under the top deck has no contact with the hull. We do that so that
there is an air cavity for moisture to drip down on to the hull, and
then out of the rear of the boat. Since moisture and excess water cannot
find any flotation to absorb into, the Big "O" Boat stays the
same weight as the day it was bought, well minus all the massive amount
of things you can store in it.
